Internships are important because they offer hands-on experience and allow students to be better prepared for their future careers. Many internships offer incentives in addition to great experience, such as a stipend or college credit. For many students, applying for an internship is intimidating because it’s their first big step toward choosing a career and determining the path they want to take in their professional lives.
