2. Plan Get-Togethers with Your Teacher Pals…
Don’t wait to see your best pals from the teacher’s lounge until September! Summer break is a great opportunity to go out to lunch or grab coffee with your fellow educators outside a work environment. You can swap ideas for decorating your classrooms in the fall, talk about techniques you’ve learned, and generally vent about the hardships of teaching. But don’t forget to include no-school talk as well — this is a vacation, after all!
