Teacher Resolution #10: Mentor student teachers
When you invest in student teachers, you’re investing in the next generation of teachers. Whether it’s your personal student teacher or someone else’s, take the time to offer advice, constructive criticism, and friendship. Mentoring does not have to mean extra work for you. Simply take the time to notice and care for the student teachers in your school. Let them know that they’re valuable and they’re entering a challenging, but worthwhile profession.
