1. The Deduction Game

Instruct students to anonymously write an interesting fact about themselves that they would feel comfortable sharing with the class on a slip of paper. Collect the papers and read them each aloud. In order to determine which statement was made by whom, students can ask one another questions that can be answered with a ‘yes’ or a ‘no.’ As the game progresses, students should make notes of who said what and use a chain of logic and deductive reasoning to determine the source of each statement.
