Based upon a similar concept that was used by many people to view last year’s solar eclipse, making a pinhole camera from instructions provided by International Technology Education Association allows students to examine the relationship between film, light, and photons.

If developing photo paper feels a little out of your range (although we totally have faith in your abilities), starting out with a pinhole projector requires zero chemicals and can be a great introduction to studying light for younger or less experienced students.
