Don’t Teach to the Test
While you often might not have total control over your curriculum, try not to focus teaching efforts solely on the test. If you only teach with a test in mind, students will associate learning solely with grades and performance. Focus on the material and making sure students enjoy learning and then craft tests to reflect the material, rather than the other way around.
