4. Have Students Show Off Their STEM Skills

STEM eventWhen planning the date, invitations, and giveaways, don’t forget to emphasize the STEM-education aspect of the event. Students should be able to present ideas, discuss their projects, and show off the amazing things happening in your classroom. One idea is to have a STEM-focused food sale set up at your event. Students can bake, cook, and prepare dishes, but only if they make enough to distribute to guests and are able to explain the STEM processes through which dishes are made, discussing things like states of matter, mixtures and solutions, and physical and chemical changes.
